Examination Results

Sedberghians consistently achieve outstanding results at GCSE and A' Level.

A' Level Results

The 2009 A' Level results have been posted below, along with those from 2007 and 2008.

Again, this year we have been delighted with some outstanding results. Zainab Abbas, Gregory Ashurst, Nicola Coffin, Alexander Elletson, Becky Fardell, Caroline Fitzner, Rosie Harnby, William Johnston, Vicky Kong, Piyasith Kruarat, Jacky Tai, Adam temple, Jacob Weber, James Whitehurst and Tom Woof all achieved a minimum of three A grades at A' Level, and we are pleased that Tom will now take up his place to read Law at Girton.

Eleven departments achieved AB percentages in excess of 60%. Outstanding results came from Economics with 91% of the grades at A and B. Close behind was Further Mathematics. English, Mathematics and History all performed extremely well.

Of all the 2009 leavers, six are taking a 'gap year', 62 have secured a place at a good University and seven are awaiting placement confirmation.

GCSE Results

The 2008 and 2009 results have been posted below.

More than 90% of candidates achieved at least 5 A*-C grades, and 46.7% achieved A*-A grades. The average number of A*-C grades per candidate is 8.5.
