Ronnie Barker and Ronnie Corbett would have been delighted to have seen the boys of Hart House performing some of their sketches as part of their House Entertainment. Every boy was involved in at least one sketch and they all clearly enjoyed the fun of acting in sketches which were so well written. It was real family humour which was suitable for all ages.
The drama was interspersed with a wide variety of musical pieces played by the boys on different instruments ranging from the saxophone and the piano to the flute and the trumpet. Alex Coral (Year 12) had composed a new symphony which was performed by ten of the boys on nine different instruments – and it was absolutely splendid!
This cornucopia of marvellous music and drama concluded with a fantastic meal at Hart House which was the ‘icing on the cake’ of a great evening of family entertainment.
