Academic Scholarships
Year 7 entry: the Academic Scholarship is assessed on thecandidate's performance in the School's Entrance Examination. Copies of pastpapers are available on request.
Year 9 entry: the Award of an Academic Scholarship is basedupon the candidate's performance in the Common Academic Scholarship papers setby The Independent Schools Examination Board. Scholarship assessments are alsoopen to those currently in the School who satisfy the age qualification. Pastpapers are available from ISEB.
Year 12 entry (Sixth Form): Scholarship examinations willcomprise three one hour papers, one of which will be a General Paper, being in subjects of the candidate's choice. Specimen papers areavailable on request.
For those currently at the school, Scholarships may beawarded on the basis of GCSE results.
