Design & Technology Scholarships
Available for entry into Years 9, 10 and 12
Design & Technology Scholarships for entry at Years 9, 10 and 12 are awarded for outstanding performance in the field of Resistant Materials and Systems
and Control.
For years 9 and 10 there is a written paper and interview based upon:
- Theory of materials/processes
- Graphic work
For year 12 the assessment will be based on interview.
All candidates should bring a portfolio of work to include evidence of research, drawing ability and photographs of objects that they have designed and made. Candidates’ portfolios will be discussed at interview at which they will be expected to demonstrate an awareness and knowledge of the design process.
