Get Fit and ‘Elfie In Support of St John’s Hospice!

Children in the Lower School are taking part in an Elf Run to support St John’s Hospice. Taking place on Saturday 7th December, friends and family are also invited to join in for some festive fun.

Children aged 9 and below (and their families) are challenged to complete laps of the sports fields in return for sponsorship, which can be brought on the day. This will provide vital funds for St John’ Hospice across North Lancashire, South Lakes and parts of North Yorkshire.

Every child will receive an elf hat on the morning. Runners and spectators are free to get into the festive spirit by wearing Christmas outfits, jumpers or decorations! Hot drinks and biscuits will also be served.

To reserve you place and for more information, please email elfrun@sedberghprep.org or call Emma Goligher 015242 79200.

Sedbergh’s support for St John’s Hospice is not just confined to fundraising activities in the Prep School. Pupils in the Senior School are busy baking to support the Hospice’s ‘Light Up a Life’ carol services for bereaved families. All the Houses are getting their rolling pins out to provide 1,500 mince pies over the next few weeks. Robertson House is baking a massive 500 pies on their charity day to send to the service at Cartmel Priory.
