Mr Newman’s Daily Message: 24 March 2020
I hope this email finds you all safe and well, supporting each other through the ever-changing circumstances. I want to start by saying a huge thank you to all the heart-warming emails and photos that have been coming in to us. I cannot tell you how much it means to have your support – it means the world to us all. So please keep them coming in! If you send them directly to me, then I will be delighted to pass the good vibrations on: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Your children are awesome. We knew that anyway, but it is now 100% confirmed. The ways in which they have grasped the chance to learn in a different way does them enormous credit. They rock.
I also know how challenging this will have been for you as parents of younger children and – quite likely – sharing devices now that we are all working from home wherever possible. Please let Form Tutors know if the latest directive has caused you particular difficulty and we will do what we can to adapt. As before, however, family wellbeing comes above history assignments in the list of priorities. Apologies to Mr Chatterley…
The times we are in now will not last for ever. When we are out the other side we will look back and be proud of how we stayed strong together, remembering what is most important in life. Stay strong. Stay Sedbergh. #waysofthewolf
With best wishes
