Sedbergh Prep Listed in Top 50 in The Cricketer Schools Guide 2022

Sedbergh Prep School have been named as one of the Top 50 Junior & Prep Schools, in this year’s Schools Guide by The Cricketer

The Cricketer magazine editor Huw Turbervill said: “It has been incredibly heartening to see schools cricket making such a comeback after a very different 2020. Of course, not all schools’ programmes have been the same due to varying restrictions, facilities, and many other understandable reasons but what has been consistent across the spectrum is that the dedication to the game in schools has, not only remained unaffected, but increased.

Cricket continues to grow at Sedbergh Prep School, with boys and girls weekly cricket training taking place throughout winter in our Sports Hall, and with expert guidance from Sedbergh School Director of Cricket, Mr Speight, and Director of Sport at Sedbergh Prep School, Mr Bunday. The development in girls’ cricket saw us celebrate the achievement of three pupils this summer, who competed against each other whilst playing for Yorkshire and Cumbria.
