YEAR 7 AND 8 TRIP TO THEATRE ON THE LAKE, KESWICK

On Thursday afternoon, Years 7 and 8 travelled to the Theatre on the Lake in Keswick to watch a modern version of one of Shakespeare’s most popular comedies ‘As You Like It’ having immersed themselves in the play during their English lessons in the lead up to the trip.  The show featured some live music and was full of fun and energy.

It was a beautifully designed production which made quite a complex Shakespearean play accessible to all ages and was thoroughly enjoyed by the pupils and staff alike. One of the highlights, however, was meeting the lead actor and Holby City star, Nathan Hamilton, after the show!
