The extra-curricular activities programme is aimed at fostering pupils' confidence, independence and breadth of interest both in individuals as well as within the framework of a team. Great emphasis is placed on developing the whole child, making sure there is a balance in their activities and giving them key life skills in resilience, perseverance and self-confidence.

All our pupils find the activities on offer an enjoyable way of self-discovery - hidden skills often come to light, and they gain a real sense of achievement in learning something new. It is also great fun and an excellent way to further enhance friendships across year groups, teamwork and leadership skills. Our activities provide pupils with the opportunity to try new experiences and learn new skills which they will hopefully go on to pursue, giving them additional variety in their education.
