Bo named in England Hockey U18 Observation Squad

Year 12 pupil, Bo, has recently been named in England Hockey’s Under-18 Observation Squad. Her selection comes off the back of some impressive displays in the Future’s Cup, where she played for Pennine Pumas with her sister, Hattie.

England Hockey Junior Talent Development Manager, Dieter Hill, has said ““After a torrid 18 months for junior hockey players, we feel very fortunate to have been able to deliver Futures Cup and participate in School Games. A massive thank you to our partners at Youth Sport Trust and the many volunteers who helped to create fabulous experiences for those involved.”

“Through these two tournaments we have been able to observe and identify a number of players to be taken forward for further observation and assessment in the England Age Group environments this Autumn.”

The listed players will be invited to further England Age Group observation and assessment activity, working toward a place in the final training squad to be announced later in the year.

Bo is no stranger to England Hockey, having represented the Under-16s last February in a 1-0 victory over Ireland. She was also part of our Under-16 side that finished runner up at last year’s National Hockey Championships at the London Olympic Park.
