Year 10 Georgie Boyd-Moss and Pollyanna Bell won 2 out of 3 losing against the 2nd seeds 3-6 but beating the 3rd seeds 6-0 and the 1st seeds 6-2. 3rd pair Hannah Page and Emily Edwardds played well to win all three sets 6-4, 6-1, 6-1.

Junior Tennis v Stonyhurst Won 13-3
A resounding win against our local rivals with only Stonyhurst No 1 pair giving us any problems, some closer games down the pairings but convincing displays by Amy Lewin and Annabel Tyser, Ruby Page and Rosie Herman, Lucy Preston and Sarah Long, Georgia Turner and Grace Sykes and Hannah Gale and Becky Hadfield winning both their matches.  We are still finding our seedings but the girls are producing some exciting tennis at the start of this season.

Jnr B Rounders v Stonyhurst  Lost 9-14 ½
An indoor game due to weather.  Some confident batting seeing Stonyhurst edge ahead in the second innings, Sedbergh with work to do in the field with basic errors creeping in.  Good to play the fixture though and game experience gained for our Junior B side.
LS

U15 Tennis v BGS  Won 8-1
Some excellent results against below par BGS with pairings of Polly Bell & Georgie Boyd Moss, Josie Coulthard & Julia Haywood and Amy Lewin and Annabel Tyser securing a strong 8-1 win, the most games lost being a 6-4 win by Josie and Julia against the BGS No 1 pairings, well done girls, unbeaten so far.

U14 Tennis v BGS  Won 6-3
Well done to the U14 tennis players who continue to improve, Issi Chamberlain and Imogen Thompson forming a strong partnership to drop only 3 games in their 3 set win.  2nd and 3rd pairings had some tougher opposition but still Sedbergh came out with the win 6-3.  Good tennis played in windy conditions.
