South View NSEA Championship Qualifiers
Sedbergh riders represented their school at South view competition centre in the NSEA championship qualifiers.
These were the last qualifying rounds before heading off to Buckinghamshire in October. The riders competed in Dressage, Showjumping and Arena Eventing at 8 different levels. We took 8 riders who in teams and as individuals rode a total of 11 horses between them.
Senior school riders were Darcey Wilkinson, Georgia Turner, Elizabeth Gale, Katie Gill, Laura Holley, Grace Gale and Alicia Newing. Prep school was represented by Scarlett Holden.
The weekend was an incredible success with all members playing their part to gain qualifications in every single class they entered. Class sizes were huge with between 50 and 60 very competitive riders from all over the North West. Individual wins went to Alicia, Laura, Darcey, Elizabeth and Georgia, with Scarlett and Grace achieving top 5 results in each of their classes.
This event is a good test of where we stand going into the championships as it is generally one of the hardest qualifiers we attend. Looking at the results across the board
As always a massive thank you to parents who work tirelessly all year with preparations and training in order to have these young athletes and their mounts on top form.

Bishops Burton NSEA Championship Qualifiers
We had six riders competing at Bishop Burton in the North East on the same weekend as South View. Sadly two riders could not compete due to horse injuries, which affected the teams, but the rest showed true Sedbergh spirit and gave it their all. Unfortunately no qualifications were to be had, but our riders had a great time and a good run out in preparation for Nationals in classes they had previously qualified for.
