We are delighted to learn that Rong Qiao Sedbergh School (RQSS), in Fuzhou, has won an award at the inaugural British School Awards.
After over 70 applications, and three tough rounds of judging audited by Lehman Brown International Accountants, British School Awards are extremely happy to announce the winners. The diverse set of schools and organisations represent exceptional quality and impact in K12 education across China.
Winners of the “Enterprise and Employability” award, RQSS were named finalists alongside two other very good schools, Dulwich College Beijing and Malvern College Qingdao. RQSS were recognised for promoting a whole-person education model, attaching equal importance to the all-round development of students’ moral, intelligence, physical, and social education.
Headmaster of RQSS, Mr Olly Wells, has said “The award means so much for our whole community as we build from the strengths of the Rong Qiao Group and history of Sedbergh. I am looking forward to getting back to school to celebrate the students and staff who made this possible.”
