Three Sedberghians have been named in the England Under 18 Development Camp squad, where they will meet up in York at the end of this month (26 & 27 September).
Ollie (S), James (S) and club captain Louie (W) have all been selected as part of the 22-man squad. 44 players have been selected in total, 22 in the North and 22 in the South. The Southern squad meet in Bristol on 3rd and 4th October.
These two training camps signify the start of the 20/21 England U18 season, with further development training camps ahead with the build up to U18 6 Nations Festival, which is set to take place in France across two weeks in April.

All three players, Ollie, James and Louie, are products of Newcastle Falcons academy and this summer, Louie was named SSFC captain, taking over as club captain from last year’s Head of School, JJ Kouadio.
Director of Rugby at Sedbergh, Mr Simon Mulholland, has shared his joy at the news of the boys’ selection saying, “At Sedbergh we have a very long and proud history of producing School boy rugby internationals. I am very proud of these young men, they are all very gifted young players who thoroughly deserve their call up into the England U18 Development Squad Camp. A strong work ethic and high skill set are qualities that Sedbergh players are known for and it is great to see them being rewarded for this on a potential international stage.”
