The training and mentoring they receive will enable them to develop their skills and work towards a recognised qualification which will, in turn, enable them to secure long-term employment. Since we first introduced our apprenticeship scheme, we have been delighted with the achievements of past and present apprentices across numerous departments here at Sedbergh School. From award- winning painters and decorators and qualified electricians to nursery practitioners who are now part of our management team.
Following our successes, we are delighted to announce the growth of our schemes with the creation of several new apprenticeship roles from Summer Term 2019 which we hope will mark the start of successful careers as Nursery Educators, Joiner & Carpenters, Chefs, Equine, Grounds and Gardening professionals.
