Sedberghian History for Senior Music Scholars

Year 13 pupils, Amelia and Ella, gave a breath-taking final recital in Thornely Studio to a small, select audience.

Earlier this year, the pair became the first pupils in our School’s history to receive their brown blazers in recognition for their services to music throughout their time at Sedbergh School.

Director of Music at Sedbergh School, Mr Allinson, said “We are beyond proud of Amelia and Ella having been awarded their brown blazers. Fantastic recognition by our Headmaster for all they have achieved, and all they do. It is a historic moment.”

On the night of their recital, Amelia and Ella both performed 3 solo pieces and then a duet to finish the evening. They were supported by Susan Doherty and Head of Choral Music, Mr Seymour, on piano.
