SHOOTING SUCCESS AT BISLEY

Daisy Armstrong (R) achieved an outstanding result at the National Rifle Association 148th Imperial Meeting at Bisley this year.

She won the Alexandra Competition for target rifle shooting at 600yards and was presented with the Challenge Cup.

In changeable conditions 50.9 was enough to gain a place in the tie shoot between Daisy and two experienced shots, Matt Millar and John Underwood the later has represented GB in Canada.

Throughout the tie shoot Daisy held her nerve against the two renowned shots to come out victorious.  She is the youngest shot to win this prestigious competition since its beginnings around 80 years ago.
