Year 12 pupil joins RNCM Saturday Programme

Joe, Year 12 pupil in Hart House, has recently started the Junior Royal Northern College of Music, to study Voice, on their Juniors Saturday Programme.

Founded in 1973 through the merger of the Royal Manchester College of Music and Northern School of Music, the Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM) is continually recognised as one of the world’s most forward-thinking conservatoires.

Home to over 900 students from more than 60 countries, it is dedicated to providing an outstanding education that propels students into careers as inspiring and versatile musicians, fully-equipped for exciting futures both on and off stage.

Joe, a former pupil of Sedbergh Prep School, has been ever-present in our Performing Arts programme since he joined us in Year 9. In just his first term with us, Joe starred as Oliver in our 2019 production of “Oliver!” and has gone on to perform on stage in further productions.
